A GREAT LOCAL EATERY. my wife and i eat at the boca dner regularly. the soups and salads are great. we usually eat a fish dish and have always been satisfied. the trout is a wonderful choice. the waiters are most accomodating and friendly.
Run and then keep on running. The service sucks, kitchen is filthy as well as the areas they make food. Utensils and plates are greasy and had reminders of food from prior customers Yack!!!! I checked the city and they have multiple violations regarding the hygiene!!! Sad thing any idiot can open up or run a restaurant and people are stupid enough to eat in these filthy places!!!!
Run and don't turn back!!. My friend and I ate here on a Saturday afternoon. We were very hungry so against our better judgement, we stayed. The windowsill was filthy, her salad had what looked like a rubber, boiled piece of chicken which was tasteless and gross. The italian dressing smelled like something that came from a bathroom toilet. My egg salad was full of mayo and the other salad sides were horrible. We felt bad for the young man server so we left him a good tip. Never, ever will we eat there again..
Prison-style creamer....chocolate milk is good though. I am always down for a good diner, so i checked out the reviews on this site before I ate here. When I saw someone described it as a prison style cafeteria, I just couldn't wait to see if this was true. There were many prison like pieces here, such as the coffe creamer and the glasses. Overall the service was great and the food was really good. The only thing I would have wanted different was that they put a little less cheese on my omlet, it was a little over the top.
Horrid food, brain-dead service, old, disheveled atmosphere, kinda like a prison cafeteria...Ah, Florida!. I'm sick for the past 48 hours due to horrid meatloaf I stupidly sampled after ordering at this dump. The meatloaf looked like it tasted, slightly green and shellacked, but I had to sample it...lucky me...I wanted meatloaf. The small bowl of "gravy" served with it had an orange color...orange! I returned it to the kitchen via my near-brain dead waitress, in favor of burnt roast chicken and stuffing that tasted like wet scrambled eggs, peas that appeared cooked a week ago...continuously. I am stunned that a place in the center of Boca Raton, which filled up with seniors for the dinner hour by the time I left, is serving embellished dog food for dinner. If there was any hope of closing down this place through some sort of consumer investigation, I'd pursue it, but since there seems to be a horde of old people who will eat there and love it, I won't bother trying. Suffice it to say I'll be back there when pigs fly.
