Maryann the owner is the worst hair dresser ever. She ruined my hair and took NO ownership. She destroyed my extensions, color and highlights and not once apologized for the trauma, nor has paid for the negligence of her mistake.

I love this place!. I recently visited Raspberries Salon in Boca and I had a great experience. The salon is so bright & beautiful. My stylist Joan did a great job. She did some soft highlights on my hair and they look great. The place was really busy and they had a lot of experienced stylists. And they have a promotion when you text "Raspberries" to 72727 you get $5.00 off your first visit. Great job, great price. I can't wait to go back

BEST SALON IN TOWN!!!!!. I've been a customer of Raspberries for several years and have gotten my hair done by many of the stylists. Everyone who works there is very friendly and always helpful.

There is so much to do in this salon. There is a nail room, an aesthetician, and a jewlery shop. All very reasonably priced and they do a good job from what I can tell.

Booking appointments with the receptionists is super easy. They greet you as soon as you walk through the door. There is always fresh coffee and homemade goodies. The stylists are always very accomodating and they always take walk-ins.

The employees are all dressed professional, and you can tell that they really do care about your hair. They all listen very well and try their best to give you the results that you're looking for.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this hair salon and I would recomend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasureable experience.

owner is absolute trash!. the owner in this place has got to be the worst i have ever experienced. first of all she doesn't look or act professional, she was over 30 minutes late for our appointment and when i asked if this was normal i was told "not always" which means YES!

I could tell the receptionist has to deal with this all the time. when she FINALLY showed up, after being told it would only be five more minutes three times, she looked like a mess. her hair was all nasty and unkempt and she was wearing a very revealing outfit. her personality is awful, she could be right off the "Jersey Shore", she had no class at all.

I was reccomended by a girlfriend who had gone to her for years for some reason. i had a Serious talk with my friend after this appointment.

the shampoo bowls are falling apart, there are broken ceiling tiles and water damaged tiles throughout the entire salon and the floor is filthy. the place looks like it need to be gutted and rebuilt. i have never seen anything like it! i don't know how the health inspector hasn't shut the place down.

When i went to the bathroom i was afraid to sit on the seat, there were marks all over it and the sink looked like it was about to fall off the wall. the owner obviously doesn't have any pride in her self or her business.

i will never recommend this place! if you have an appointment with the owner cancel it! the rest of the employees looked presentable and were busy at work.

the hair washer did a great job, but i feel bad that he has to work with 3 broken sinks that are obviously falling apart.

while in the back i took a look inside a skin care room and i was suprised to see it was clean. there was an older woman sitting in there and she seemed presentable as well, however, she probably works independently since the rest of the salon is in shambles.

there is a quaint jewelry store in the back as well that looks amazing with fabulous treasures.

when i went back to the owner she talked about this and that hair, however i couldn't even listen since i was in such a state of disgust. at this point i was only curious to see how the rest of my appointment would go, otherwise i would have marched right out the door.

while i was paying i was put further into a state of disgust as the owner started arguing with another customer who was not pleased with the dye job she had just received. the customer said she wanted one color but her hair was clearly another. the owner just got defesive and started fighting with her and insisting the color was fine!

i couldn't believe my eyes or ears! i thought that the owner of a salon would be more interested in the customer being happy, but she had no interest in what the customer wanted. when the customer left the owner started talking about the customer and how rediculous she was and how she just didnt want to pay for the job and that the color looked great (which it did not! it looked awful).

i will never go there again. if i ever hear anyone talking about going there i will do everything in my power to stop them, especially if they are going to the owner.

TERRIBLE. Let me start by saying, if I could give it negative stars I would. I went to this salon and was in complete disbelief at how terrible it was. The guy who did my hair used some old brush that looked like his dog had been chewing on it for the past 8 months...it had missing bristles and a nasty handle. He used zero products to protect my hair from the too high heat of his cheap, ancient blow dryer and had no idea what he was doing. I honestly think I have done a better job by myself, oh wait...and to do it myself is free and doesn't smell of cheap styling products. I was ignored and felt as if the hair "dresser" (i put that in quotes because as far as I'm concerned he has no business having a title like that) couldn't care less about me or how my hair looked. I asked him to part my bangs on the side and he looked at me like I was speaking a different language. How many times have you been in a salon and had to take the brush from the stylist to do it yourself? I hadn't either until I went to this crappy salon. This salon is beyond awful, I'm sorry I tried it and tell everyone I know to stay away. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I made the mistake of going here before a major event, the hotel launch party at The W in Ft. Lauderdale, and was forced to deal with the after math of his horrible "styling" all night. I looked like a frizzball with nappy bangs. Awesome. It's not like there were celebrities there or anything. I WISH THIS PLACE WOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS. oh, did I forget to mention the tacky decor inside? I felt like I stepped into a time warp that took me back to 1992. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the money and time...don't go here. You'll get better results doing it yourself. Case and point: my friend that went with me to this god awful salon went home and showered so she could do her hair herself. And in case you were wondering, her hair looked better than mine did...allow me to reiterate that SHE DID HERS HERSELF. I can't even express how much I hate this place. DON'T DO IT.

ive been to many salon across the nation....and i have to tell you great color great service!!!!!. i had the best time with these down to earth very friendly people, my Stylist was just wonderful,,,he was the first one to get my color perfect the first time out!!! this place is filled with long time regulars who are more then willing to make others feel as if they belong..... after reading a couple of comments on here it was hard to imagine we are talking of the same salon on powerline road... however after visiting so many salons ive sceen many people over react over a bit of yellow that is so easy to correct if given the chance..however seems by some comments made about this salon were just bitter and sad to tear an entire salon apart over one situation... people life is too short!! go visit this salon !!! great location fair prices... save your silly little tears for something meaningful ......lol.....thats just my veiw on this salon....

HORRIBLE!! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. HORRIBLE!! Beware, before you make an apointment read these reviews. It was the most unprofessional and dirty salon I have ever been to. Salon of the stars???? No way. That salon doesnt even deserve a half of star. Most of the workers looked like like they were off the street and homeless, there was no uniform and they did not even offer me a smock!. Have you ever heard of the color yellow-orange, great for a crayon, but not for hair!! I went in for highlights and before I know it my hair was bright orange. The "man" told me that he knew I wanted a free hair cut (fartheset from my mind) and yelled at me, saying "oh here come the water works." Anyone who had the color of my hair would have cried too. Instead of accomodating thier customers he fought with me! The owner was polite and tried to fix it, it is not as bad but still very orange. I am embarrased to go to outside. I am beyond disgusted and I would like everyone to spread the word.

Avoid at all costs. I called to make an appointment and was told that if i rushed over they would be able to squeeze me in. I replied that while i do live nearby, i would prefer an appointment. The gentleman on the phone insisted that i should come over right away. I got there at 12:45 and was told it would be 5 minutes. (upon looking around the salon, i realized that was not exactly a 4 star deal) 45 minutes later the facialist came out and assured be it would be another 5 minutes. I couldn't wait anymore i apologized to the facialist and explained to the receptionist that i wouldn't have minded waiting, had i not rushed like a maniac to get there, "right away" as i had been instructed and that i had *no* desire to pay for a service that went from being a pleasure to a headache! Unless you have all day to wait around ... pick another salon.
