great eats. not the same old fare here.. been there numerous times and never experienced what the mad writer wrote. food has always been great, normal is for mcdonalds or jack-in-the-box. manager must have dealt with this customer before to react this way. recommend this place for an evening out that is far from normal.

You've got to be kidding me. Pep's has been there for years, and for years, the food stinks, the service gets worse each visit. We ordered several appetizers, none have "normal" dipping sauces, they "don't carry them" No ranch, blue cheese, etc... We ordered 2 soft shell crabs, both on the same plate, one, looked an tasted fresh, the other looked bad, tasted bad, and even smelled foul, the crab was black. So we asked to replace the one crab, and the manager told us the owner refuses. What the hell is that? The bartender and the manager agreed with us, and both apologized, and were actually embarrassed because of the owner's actions. So, eat there at your OWN RISK, and realize the owner shouldn't be in the service industry, and certainly shouldn't be serving food....We'll never go back, and we're telling everyone we know in town....
