Its funny the comment below mine compares this salon with "vietnamese" places (which is an incorrect term) because this is how the owner justifies these high prices...in exactly the same words. This place is very unprofessional and they will squeeze in anyone they can, even if its during one of your services! I worked here and know a few things that are factual (wouldnt risk litigation against myself for false info). I have photos of skin peelings on the same towels used for hair (posted on yelp) and have personally seen the owner use regular hair dye on someone then state it was another kind that is for more sensitive heads. She of course made sure the woman signed a waiver first. Also, she cuts costs by using generic brand coffee and sweetener. For the prices you should expect more and go next door to the other salons in the plaza.
THE BEST MANICURE PEDICURE EVER!. I have to disagree with the above comment! Although it was written in 2009! It seems that the above person was very disgruntled. I am a very loyal client of Salon W and Spa and have been going there for a long time. Not only is the front desk proffesional, but the staff is amazing and so is their work.! I have never witnessed an unsatisfied customer in Salon W and Spa and in the few instances that there has been an "upset " client, the owner always makes things right wether its a refund or a complimentary service. The Nail technicians have been working on Worth Avenue for 10 years and I know all of them personally! One gives the best massage EVER! The other, He is the Ingrown toe nail specialist, And the other woman she is so peacful and relaxing an amzing woman.....with the most gentle touch ever. I travel back and forth from NYC and LA, and let me tell you ... You can pay $30 over the bridge and get a vietnamese pedicure in 20 minutes....or $55 and a pedicure on Worth avenue in a beautiful, clean salon, that lasts and hour! If you are going to Worth Avenue, I highly rec. Salon W and Spa! I love it! and so will you!
WORST Manicure/Pedicure Ever!!!!!!!.
Do not waste your money at this salon. My mother and I went in for a manicure/pedicure yesterday and received the most amateur service imaginable. The worst part is it was $80 for each of us! The women were nice but for a $55 dollar pedicure you expect a great one and we were just shocked at the result. Messy paint job, paint on the sides of our toes, streaky, not a thorough cleaning, nails rough, I mean just really poor. We are two women that get our nails done on a weekly basis and understand what a good manicure/pedicure is. I just moved to the neighborhood from New York City which is why we tried this place. It's location is great and being on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach I thought we couldn't go wrong. I was wrong, way wrong!!! When I called up to tell the salon about our experience they went on and on about how they have the richest, most high profile people come into the salon and they never have complaints! How rude, what are we chopped liver. Needless to say no refund. We will be going elsewhere to get another manicure/pedicure from scratch! I wouldn't even go back to have them redo our nails. If you don't have talent, what is going to change?
Do not go to this salon, you will be throwing away your money.
