My Favorite Italian Restaurant in Boca. I am a restauranteur that has lived in Manhattan, DC, Florida, etc. and I have long had a place in my heart for Renzo's Italian food. The ambience is nice without going over the top -- meaning you can dress up or down. The service is great, like most upscale Italian restaurants. And the food is fantastic. Every pasta I have tried has beeen marvelous, the fish dishes are superb, the chicken parm is amongs the best I've had and the wine selection is very strong.

A little respect, please. When the waiter asked our table whether we would like a drink or glass of wine before dinner, I responded with "yes, we would". The waiter resonded: "I wasn't talking to you". Maybe he was just trying to please our guests, who were regulars. But, I had to tell him I was paying!

The francese dishes we had (veal and shrimp) tasted only of lemon. The prices were not in line with the quality. Our guests love the place, but they like almost any food.

I will not return and advise you to go someplace else for good southern Italian food.
