Inexpensive barbecue is the main draw at this reliable Southeastern chain.. In Short
Owner Sonny Tillman has been serving the same Southern barbecue and fixings since 1968. A common roadside stop, Sonny's offers low prices and barbecue; roomy booths, wagon-wheel chandeliers and homey craft art are the standard dining room decor. House barbecue sauce, available sweet, regular or hot, spices up large helpings of smoked beef, pork, chicken, turkey and ribs. Sides like fresh fried okra, onion rings and barbecue beans complement the entrees.

Awful. Period.. The tables were sticky and dirty. The Pulled Pork and the Baked Beans were barely lukewarm and service was extemely slow even though they were not terribly busy. Not impressed with my first visit to this restaurant and my husband says we will never go there again....
