Great sushi, this is in response to the first comment. Yu Mi has the best deals in town. After working in the business for many years I for one understand that they can only deliver these prices with the low overhead of a small place. This is great as they are able to keep prices that others can't match for awesome sushi. Reading this I don't think you get it. Your not at a cheezy corporate chain where you get your way and people care about your kids. Why would they waste one of their only four tops on 2 california rolls, 3 waters, all totaling up to a $30 check for sitting there an hour. I'm sure you'll be missed when they get a proper table of adults taking shots of sake. Do everyone who likes to enjoy their meal while they are eating the best sushi in town a favor and goto RA. They have outside seating and a nice half off happy hour. It's a small place that should not allow kids. Get a babysitter if you want to go and show the common courtesy to everyone else by not bringing your screaming babies or obnoxious kids.

Rude, Nasty Hostess and Manager. If I could give them a -0- I would. Myself and my 2 daughters arrived for dinner on a slow thursday nite. There were three tables available and were told we could not sit there. It was for four people. We were told that we would need to sit at the bar. I have a back issue and can not sit in a high bar stool. They would rather loose 3 paying customers than allow us to push two tables together and sit there. They were the rudest people I ever wanted to meet. I don't know how they can stay in business with the economy in such turmoil. I/We will never go there again and will make sure none of our very large family or network of friend will either. There are plenty of other friendly places to go and spread our wealth around to people who will care. I tried to call and let the management know what was going on and he refussed to come to the phone. Good luck with your business I'm sure the public will figure this out and find a nicer place as well...

Good food, RUDE people. My companion & I came in past lunch rush. All side tables filled, space @ bar and 2 little single tables pushed together available. Waitress insisted we go to the bar. We said no, we wished to talk to each other face to face. We asked why we couldn't sit at one of the 2 little tables pushed together. She said no, what if she got 4 customers.? No customers in sight but us. She was quite rude and refused to seat us except at the bar. We told her we hoped she got a table for 4, because she had just turned away 2 paying customers who will not come back. We left. Nasty lady.

YuMi = YUMMY. I've been going to Yu-Mi about every week for the past 6 years or so. The sushi is simply the best value around town. Top quality and affordable, especially if you get the lunch specials. The wait staff is very attentive. After I open a package of sweetener, they come by to pick up the wrapper. I've never seen any of the staff act rude ever. The tall waitress even said hi to me when I saw her at Publix or SunFest. Oh yeah - it is crowded. If you get there for lunch after 12:15, expect a wait. And I've never even attempted dinner. I hear 1 hour waits are common. The restaurant is small. The biggest table seats 4. The only bad thing I have to say is that their non-sushi items (teriyaki, katsu) are mediocre. But the sushi rocks. I recommend the angel hair roll, promenade roll, rock and roll, dragon roll, french connection on top of the specials.

Good sushi. Good service, good food, and good price. Clean and not crowded. Sushi Rolls are my favorite. they are made as you wait. Try it you will like it.

Best Age Tofu anywhere!. Great Age Tofu and great tasting well price sushi. However the tall waitress tends to be rude. If you can overlook that would be the best place for sushi.
