Dogs eat here! Maybe you shouldn't.. The last time that my wife and I ate here the hostess attempted to seat us on the patio right next to a table where a couple had their dog seated on the bench eating, and I mean actually eating from the table top. The patron was putting french fries down on the table and the dog was licking them up. We turned down the table and eventually were seated inside. I asked to speak to the manager and "Mike" came over and immediately stated" it's Florida law". He went on to say that we shouldn't worry because they clean the tables after the dogs eat here and he went on to say that people with dogs make up a big portion of his patio customers. He said that he gets about 8 to 10 customers with dogs each night. If this is true then the same rag that is used to clean the tables out on the patio which served patrons with dogs is the same rag that cleans your table anywhere else in the restaurant. Mike went on to say that having dogs in the restaurant is like having kids running around. It's something that you have to deal with. We disagree. Kids don't lick their own butts! My suggestion is simple. If you love dogs and don't mind eating among the filth of a slobbering pet then eat here. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and eat at Duffy's. Duffy's doesn't allow dogs to eat at the next table.
