Lovely stay. Great weekend at the Ritz. Beachfront property with complementary beachchairs and umbrellas...about 20 minutes drive from the airport. Margaritas were excellent!! But very overpriced at $16 and up. We didn't even try the food b/c it was so inflated. A $20 hamburger? No thanks... But in terms of the hotel itself--beautiful! You felt more relaxed and pampered just by walking into the lobby. Room was clean, had separate showers and tubs, nice TV's, DVD player's, and perfect beachviews. The pools were fun as well, with 2 different pools, and several fountains. had an amazing time. Ice cream parlor across the street was very good, and several ok restaurants in the area--but make sure you bring cash. Several do not accept credit cards!

World-class service and Mediterranean opulence on Palm Beach.. The Scene
This hotel is located on seven acres of sand at the tip of Palm Beach Island. It was built in 1991 in the style of early 20th-century architect Addison Mizner. Bell towers and stucco adorn the Mediterranean-style building, and several dozen palm trees and a courtyard fountain welcome arriving guests. The lobby features two fireplaces and views of the ocean; high tea is served here every afternoon.

The Details
Most of the 270 rooms boast views of the water and all have private balconies. The room colors are based on the natural hues of the surrounding ocean and sky. Marble baths are standard. The Club Level offers complimentary food throughout the day and the privacy of an exclusive elevator key. There are seven tennis courts on the property, and guests are offered golf privileges at the nearby Atlantis course. The cuisine at the hotel's five-star restaurant, The Grill, is consistently rated among the best in the country. Dining also includes an in-room "chef's table" menu. The concierge can arrange for guests to see polo and croquet matches.
