Dear Goldie Locks (Tara)

I just recently saw your review and I can’t tell you how truly sorry I am about your experience. I am very fortunate to have trained with so many great artists around the globe but all that education is worthless if a client in any way feels that I did not give the much deserved time they’re paying for.

Please understand the particular day you were in is not the norm. With one client running far late my day was thrown off. My assistants are usually quite good at calling and informing clients if I am running behind. I am simply offering the why but I am in no way excusing the poor service you received that day.

I would have preferred that you called back, rescheduled and I would have been more than happy to make sure you felt welcomed and that you left with your hair nothing short of perfect. I am writing you so that I can offer my apology publicly, that I welcome the criticism and…most importantly for you know that I care how you feel.

I fully understand if, after all this, you may not want to return to the salon but I would like to offer you a wonderfully relaxing Kerastase Chronologiste Caviar Treatment in the salon. This treatment is amazing and costs $60 but want you to have it complementary so that you may somehow feel you were compensated. The construction of my private room is almost complete and would love for you to have the treatment there but that is for you to decide. Although I would prefer to do something for you immediately I am booked 3 to 4 weeks in advance but if you in any way feel uncomfortable with me there I can arrange for an assistant to take care of you on a Monday, Wednesday or even a Sunday when I am off.

Disappointed

After waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time (without explanation) I was taken back to the chair. I requested my hair to be layered and highlights on the crown-to look natural (like my last stylist achieved-who was out on sick leave). I explained I didn't want people to "notice" only to brighten my face line. My highlights turned out bright white (once they dried) and everyone noticed. At the end of my cut (mostly a trim with new bangs) she walked into the back to start on her next client. She didn’t say goodbye, have a nice day and didn't ask how I liked my hair. Her daughter finally said-ok you are all set and collected my payment (which was $40 more than I was quoted over the phone). I was referred by a friend and didn't want to reflect poorly on her relationship so I didn't say a word, but don't intend to return. Needless to say I was very disappointed considering all of the positive reviews which were posted. I guess everyone has bad days. I should have rescheduled after 15 minutes and returned on a day she wasn't so busy maybe things would have turned out differently.

I love my haircut!

I had heard around town about Claudia's impressive skills for a while. So I finally gave her a try. I just love my haircut! She is definitely the best at her craft and is focused on pleasing the client. Also the staff is so nice and makes the whole experience wonderful. I already have another appt. for highlights and I cant wait...

Very Talented Hairstylist

I was a hair model for Claudia at the most recent Miami Beauty Show 2011. I can rarely find someone that knows techniques to cut my hair with softness and movement. (I have naturally wavy and very thick hair, but always wear it flat ironed straight) To get a cut that is not choppy and blends beautifully is rare. Claudia also colored my hair, the new balayage technique, Ombre. The color is stunning and I get compliments everywhere I go. The detail in the color and cut are stellar. She is amazing, and I can't wait until I need a retouch!
