West Palm Beaches Finest!!!.
A friend of mine was getting married but for his bachelor party we all decided we wanted to go to Taverna Opa to start the night. We figured that we would go and have a meal before we started bar hopping for my buddies last night of freedom.
When we got to Taverna Opa there was no wait so we were able to get in quick and we sat to eat! I tried the "Flaming Cheese" because I had never had that before. It was great. It was a big slice of cheese that they brought to our table and set on fire in front of us with a good yell "OPAAAA". After the cheese, I had the Gyro Wrap which was great.
What got me though was the party. We ended up staying to talk for a little while and we started noticing people dancing on their table after the meal. This was great. We ended up partying all night at Taverna Opa! What a great time!

Fun atmosphere with live entertainment. Last weekend my family and I went to Taverna Opa for dinner. I have to say it was absolutely wonderful and a great experience. My family was glad we chose to try something new! The waiter was friendly and the food was delicious. We are definitely going to come in very soon again. They have live entertainment and great seafood. I think I’m going to have my birthday party at taverna Opa.

Rockin good time!. I loved my evening at taverna opa and i do mean evening. This place is like no other i have ever been with waiters AND diners dancing on the tables, belly dancers, Greek waiters and fantastic food. Where can you go and dance on your table after your meal? The food was wonderful, the place was packed and everyone had a smile on their face... what a change from other restaurants. Lots of people in large parties and everyone was enjoying the atmosphere. Like I said- i've never heard of a place like this but I am now taking all my friends! You really should see it... it's alot of fun and the music is wonderful. At 10pm they have a DJ come and play dance music.. the entire place was on the tables!

Loved it!. At one point during our meal a few nights ago, I was having such a good time that my mind faded into its thoughts! I remember a brief moment of true gratification. Everyone was having wine, there was plenty of food on the table, we all had huge smiles on our faces and there were napkins falling from the ceiling! The rest was a tad blurry, but everyone at Taverna Opa was so pleasant and GREEK! The service was impeccable! Expect my return.

Great meal!. Its hard to hit a perfect score when your meal arrives a bit late, but I understood why, they were very busy. My waiter also took a few moments to break a plate! It was all well worth the wait. I had lamb chops and red wine. Mmm! Cooked to perfection, the lamb was soft and ever so slightly charred. My mouth is watering a little bit, I'll stop while I'm ahead!

Greek food not cooked by greeks!.
I've been to TAVERNA OPA in Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale in the past and we've always been happy. But this week West Palm Beach- -NO GOOD!, we orderd the lamb ribs and my father's fish were great!, the 2 Lobsters were too slimy, the Octopus was like from a CAN! we didn't eat it, the mousaka was HORRIBLE! the ground meat was slightly uncookded and no flavor very bland. Filet mignon kabobs hard with no flavor too.
we were so unhappy we took a peek at whose cooking in the kitchen? not GREEKS!
the Bar drinks were great and We were visiting from another state and we decided to take my family there for dinner and even though we had a great time the food was not.
I will not visit this place in the future.

Great Greek food & entertainment. This place is wild and fun. The food is pretty average but the atmosphere makes up for it.. Dancing and throwing napkins in the air is a pretty fun Saturday night to me! Don't know about the other locations but this one seems right on the ball.
