What People Are Saying About Shine-A-Blind-Repair-Cleaning -Sales
They want your $$$$$!
by MimiG43 at Citysearch
I have been going to Soderstroms for over a yr. for acne and I have not been pleased. They want you to come back every month to every other month and at over $100 a pop I have given them a small fortune for little results. They increase your meds a tiny amount with every visit as they see the treatments aren't working. I can understand wanting to use as little meds as possible, but they take it to crazy extremes. It's plain to see they are just milking you for every visit/cent they can possible get out of you. They are all about the profit and not about helping people. They were CONSTANTLY pushing me to have laser treatments ($3,000) for my scarring even though I don't think I need it and I told them several times I didn't want it. Plus, why would I do that when I still have acne? They also have their own line of OTC cleansers, lotions, make-up, ect. that they want you to use. I finally quit going to them a month ago and started using products from the store, mineral make-up and oil free lotions, ect. things I have researched myself and have seen much better results than they gave me. With them at my best I might only have 1 or two little pimples, but my skin was a flaky peeling nasty mess. But now I have the same amount of pimple, but my skin is smooth and soft and make-up looks good. The last time I called them, even though I had just been seen less than a week ago, they wouldn't give me a refill on a presc. The receptionist told me it was illegal for them to give out presc. without first being seen. I told her it was a refill and I had just been seen, the Dr. asked me if I needed any refills and at the time I didn't think I did. She told me I had to make another appt. to see the Dr. That was the last straw for me. If it actually is illegal, every Dr. I have ever been to my entire life is in big trouble-lol. Also, I have seen the receptionists treat someone that was there on refferal for a rash(it was obvious that he was poor) totally disrespetful.
- Pros: The only Dermatologist I could find.
- Cons: High cost, little result.
