Dear Mike P., I am sorry that your experience with KangaRealty (formerly KangaRent) was not a good one. All of our agents are professional Realtors® and rental and sales experts. Our agent likely showed you another brokerage's listing and would have had no way to know about the cleanliness of the unit. Good units come and go so quickly that it is impossible for our agents to visit them all in advance. As a rental agency, we work with a lot of tenants and make hundreds of offers every month. Because of this, we know what landlords expect and what makes an offer strong to give you the best chance of being accepted. Part of that process is working out our customer’s credit history and income as it will dictate whether the landlord will accept your offer, or what extra steps we will need to take to strengthen your offer. I know these can be uncomfortable and sometimes intrusive conversations, however it is something that we have to know in order to help you find a rental property without wasting your time. Apartments also charge an application fee and our Realtors know what requirements apartments need in order to approve you so your agent may have also been trying to save you the time and money of applying with an apartment complex that may not approve you. If all this was not explained to you, I apologize on behalf of KangaRealty.

I do not recommend Kangarents. My agent was a snooty asian woman with major attitude. She made us very uncomfortable and this company DISCRIMINATES against your income, background and skin color. AVOID if you do not want to be judged or publicly humiliated. I overheard her bad mouthing my income to co-workers in the office. I just got out of a really bad marriage and instead of sympathizing with my current financial situation she turned her nose upward and her whole attitude changed. She emailed me only 2 listings in a horrible run down high crime rate part of town. I left her several voice messages and numerous emails asking for more listings where I would feel safe and not afraid to live and sleep at night and she totally blew me off and NEVER returned any messages so I went to another company where I was treated much better. After all I'm sure there were more than two listings in my price range in all of palm beach county?? It was ridiculous. FYI Kanga rents...discrimination is against the law or are you people above the law???

HELLO. about 3 months ago i hired a kangarent realter to show my family and i some apartments in west palm beach, royal palm beach area.we met with him and from the moment i sead hello and introduce my self there was a bad vibe.. we went to the first town home and its was a ok until my wife walk in to the only bath room a found a terd in the toilt, she was disguted by the site and ran out off the bath room and told the realter MR.Donald Gross that someone had DEFFECATED in the bath room and he sead to us well i didnt know that was going to be there, and did not apologize for the mishap. at the next apartment we went to everything so going ok until mr Gross started asking me about my family financis in front off my kids.. with knowledge that my credit was not the best, my wife and i are hard working people that may have made bad finincials decisions in the past but should i not treated l like every one else, he ask my wife how much she made in a month and for the apartments we where looking at we where able to afford but there was still a problem he want first/ last /dipst/ plus an extra month of deposit because my credit was not the best, after all of this i still found a very nice town home in west palm for way cheaper than what kangarent had to offer, i save time gas and about 2000$ in the moving to my new home .. now i live in a wonderful townhome no stress at all KANGARENT CAN GO SUCK IT""""""" FROM MIAMI WITH LOVE>>>

Julie Phillips is great!. When I needed to find a rental home in Jupiter, FL, close friends of ours highly reccommended a realtor that they had used and were very happy with. However, we found out that he had moved into a management position and wasn't abe to show properties. So, we did what many people do - hit the web.

I contacted a wide variety of agents, describing what I was looking for, and asking them to contact me regarding my search. Julie was the only one that was responsive, reliable, and listened to what I was asking for. I cannot recommend her highly enough. In this area, realtor services are usualy free for the renter - commission is paid by the landlords. However, you would never know it to be a renter working with Julie. She was 100% committed to helping us find exactly what we wanted and worked very hard to present all available options.

It ended up that the only open unit in the community we wanted was represented by another realtor, but Julie still went out of her way to help us get it. To top it all off, after working with Julie for a few days we found out that the first realtor we wanted (highly recommended by our friends) is Julie's son that also works for the same company! As far as I am aware, Julie is now working in a Broker capacity, so I'm not sure if she can directly show properties, but I would trust anyone that she recommends without question.

My husband is a scientist at The Scripps Research Institute. Many graduate students and post-doctoral fellows come to Scripps needing rental homes, so we are consistently asked about were we live and what we did to look for a place. I will always refer anyone looking to Julie, without fail.

Highly recommended service! Not to mention, it's FREE!. My wife and I used KangaRent to find an apartment in CityPlace, downtown West Palm Beach and our agent did a great job!

Not only did they guide us through the entire process, but they saved us time by finding us our ideal apartment on our first day out with the agent. Highly recommended service! Not to mention, it's FREE!

Amazing Home Finding Service for Apartment and Rentals. Great experience with KangaRent! They helped me and my family find a new rental that was absolutely beautiful in West Palm Beach, with pool, exercise room, lake view, and 3 bedrooms, totally within our budget!

All KangaRent agents are licensed Realtors and it's even a free service for renters! I'll never waste my time looking for an apartment on my own again.
