I have been affiliated with this FINE Dance School for over 5 years. The all around professionalism of ALL Instructors and Office Staff is unmatched in this business in this area. Southern Dance has an impeccable reputation, having served the Boynton Beach area for 29+ years. You don't stay in business for that many years if you're not doing something right! In the areas of Dance Instruction, Organization, Enthusiasm and Encouragement, this school is TOPS!!!

As a parent of a student who was shy and insecure, before coming to Southern Dance, I am forever grateful for the Dance Education that Penni Greenly and her staff have given my child. My daughter's confidence and self esteem have been boosted and she's a much happier child than before we got here!

As for my recommendation...I wish I could give Southern Dance Theatre 10 STARS for OUTSTANDING DANCE INSTRUCTION. The Faculty and Staff most certainly deserve this accolade!

Southern Dance Theatre. If there was a negative star rating for this Dance studio I would use it. I highly recommend you not send your child here. To start the front desk staff is extremely rude. My daughter had an issue which we attempted to communicate and was told to basically "deal with it". My daughter is 4 years old. We next had an even greater issue with one of the dance teachers and had requested a change of class only to be given an attitude and a piece of paper thrown at us. Lastly in our most recent incident there was a mom who was 20 minutes late to pick up her 4 year old daughter, there were no other parents around, and the teacher refused to wait with the child until her mother came to pick her up. We proceeded to inform the front desk that this child was left here and they said "I'm sure she'll be back soon" and went back into their office.

I have never experienced such unprofessional staff and establishment in my entire life. If it wasn't already so late into the season and hadn't paid for costumes already I would pull my kids out. I will certainly not be sending them back next year.
